To register all eligible, unregistered citizens of color and LGBTQ-idenified individuals in Texas by 2024.
Our Team
VoteSimple was started by a trio of young Texans of color who recognized the need to ramp up voter registration in order to ensure the voices of people of color + LGBTQ Texans are heard in Texas and beyond. We are the only Texas-based nonpartisan nonprofit dedicated to registering all people of color and LGBTQ+ individuals in the state of Texas.
DELILAH AGHO-OTOGHILE
Delilah Agho-Otoghile is a political strategist and organizer who has extensive experience in issue advocacy and electoral campaigns.
She most recently served as the Texas State Director for Beto for America and prior to that was the Field Director for Stacey Abrams' historic gubernatorial campaign.
Throughout her career, she has focused on empowering youth voters and voters of color. She has successfully won campaigns by building programs that expand the electorate through targeted voter registration and by effectively mobilizing communities of color.
Her work is dedicated to ensuring our democracy truly reflects progressive values and the striking diversity of our country.

BENJAMIN HERNANDEZ
Benjamin is a once-undocumented-millennial-immigrant that’s tired of the system. He has a BA and MBA from Rice University and was the Chief Financial Officer for the Houston Health Department. He quit his job to run for office in 2018 because he believes that we need to focus on people and communities instead of political parties.
He founded Human Age Digital to help people focused small campaigns reach digital audiences. He has extensive experience in digital acquisition, digital persuasion. and digital advertising strategy.
